Expect to feel understood.

Hi, I’m Dannica Conley. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, eating disorders, self-esteem and body image issues, life transitions, relationships and codependency, and trauma. By going deeply and intentionally inward and exploring thoughts, emotions, and experiences, you can reconnect to your authentic self.

If you’re struggling, feel unmotivated, worry all the time, or don’t like who you are, therapy can help. Your path to wholeness, healing, and a more balanced life is within reach. I equip my clients with practical tools and skills, while cultivating confidence, fortitude, resilience, and inner peace so that you can be your most vibrant self.

Come as you are - I will meet you where you're at. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful tool we have. I also Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, Psychodynamic, Feminist, and Narrative Therapies. For relationship and couples work, I use the Gottman Method, guiding you towards a more harmonious connection.

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson, graduating summa cum laude. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William in Mary in Virginia.

I am a LPC (VA License #0701013947). I see clients virtually throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and invite you, no matter your identity or background, to reach out. Your path to wholeness, healing, and transformation can begin today, and I'm excited to support you on your journey. Expect to feel heard, understood, and supported as you move closer to a more meaningful life.

The therapeutic alliance is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy. I support my clients in accessing their unique strengths as they rebuild and fortify their relationship with themselves and the world.
